Akvilė Kozlovskytė is a professionally trained classical pianist, graduate of Piano Performance BMus at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She is an inspiring, dynamic and ambitious piano teacher, who can facilitate high quality learning through engaging and effective teaching techniques.

Long standing teaching experience

Akvilė has been teaching piano for over 6 years. She has an ability to form long standing, fruitful relationships that last - some of her students have been studying with her for as long as 5 years.

Education

Akvilė has a world class musical education focused specifically on the Piano Performance discipline. She delivers lessons making sure that the students are learning at the right standard regarding their:

piano technique, posture
musical understanding and expression
secure sense of beat and rhythm
listening skill

Flexibility

Akvilė has an ability to provide an individual experience to every student, be it a child as young as 6, or an adult.

She is familiar with a wide range of piano literature, including books for both child and adult beginners as well as amateur and advanced students.

Akvilė can alter her teaching method depending on the student's age, ability, needs and personality. However, an aspect that is always consistent in her method is putting every student at ease, raise their curiosity about music and motivate them by explaining the reason of every task.

When it comes to the exams, Akvilė has a very organised, calm approach. She has an ability to plan, deliver and assess lessons that ensure students are learning at their full potential. She prepares students for ABRSM practical exams which include:

A number of Akvilė's students' results come back as an ABRSM Distinction and the rest of the students always reach a Merit.
